Miss Mackay's Homecare launches in Cromwell

Miss Mackay’s, a new homecare provider dedicated to helping seniors live independently, safely, and comfortably in their own homes has officially been launched With a focus on dignity, compassion, and personalised care, Miss Mackay’s aims to transform the standard of elderly care in Cromwell.

Founded by Annabel Blaikie, the owner & director of Blaikie Recruitment, Miss Mackay’s was born from a passion for providing high-quality, respectful care that supports aging in place and strengthens peace of mind for families.  Named after Annabel’s great Aunt Margaret Mackay, one of Otago’s first female solicitors.  Famous for her fruitcake & lemon squash she lived independently well into her 90’s at the family home at Wainakarua. 

"We created Miss Mackay’s to fill a critical gap in homecare services," said founder Annabel Blaikie. • Meal preparation and nutritional support

• Transportation to appointments and errands

• Respite care for family caregivers

The company employs highly trained, background-checked caregivers who are selected for their experience, empathy, and commitment to elderly well-being. All care plans are personalised and supervised by care coordinators to ensure the highest standards of service and client satisfaction.

Miss Mackay’s will initially serve clients in Cromwell & surrounds with plans to expand based on community needs.
